Genre: Christian Music

Artist Profile

Name: Mark Fallin
Label: Sounds Like A Daisy
Location: Claxton GA

Biography:

ASCAP member since 2005. Began playing drums and "picking" at the guitar early in life, maybe around 6 or 7. Ended up in Claxton Ga. and started playing drums for a popular band from Statesboro,Ga; "Critical Mass". When I joined, they were changing formats from rock -n-roll(Stones,Steppenwolf,etc.)to country rock and old rock-n-roll arrangements by Chuck Berry and the like. I was introduced to a whole new sound and some I already knew. We played tunes by Poco, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airman, Dylan, The Band, Grateful Dead, Chuck Berry. This was a big change for me as I had been jamming on Allman Bros., Pink Floyd, Johnny Winter, Zepplin, etc. Dropped drums and began eternal woodshedding on acoustic guitar in 1975. Played lead, rhytm, and lead vocals with "Hot Cargo Band" for over 23 years. Had to quit performing live due to health problems in 2002. Since then I've been centered on my witness tunes for God as well as writing a book about my journeys hopefully available soon. A special thanks to my Mom&Pop, Sue and Rusty Fallin who have always encouraged and supported my music. Whether it was in the playpen listening to Glenn Miller, or me playing Rocky Top,ZZ Top,"and all points in between" to finally writing and recording of Christs' salvation offered to us all. Thanx for stopping in and listening/reading-SPECIAL thanx to my webmistress for getting me here! May God Bless!!!
