Jeff has been involved in music and art making since his earliest days and first began experimenting with tape loops and various prepaired pianos at the age of fifteen in 1980. Jeff studied painting and computer graphics in Davenport, Iowa in the mid 1980's. He continued musical pursuits in a various local bands including the experimental outfit "The Distracted Mystics".
