The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Prep Album, Tour UK

New York foursome The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have plans to release their self-titled debut on February 3rd of next year with Slumberland records. The band play noisy but catchy pop rock in the vein of early My Bloody Valentine with a bit of a twee edge. Forming just last year, the group have so far released on a few "7 records and an EP. Seminal, highly influential post-punkers The Wedding Present will cart The Pains of Being Pure at Heart around the U.K. the first half of December on a short tour.
