I usually don't tell too many people this, but the very first live concert I ever saw was a Weird Al show. (I was ten, and it was for a friend's birthday party - cut a guy some slack.) Let me tell you, Weird Al draws the strangest crowd. And this was when his song "The Saga Begins" was popular, so not only did you have the Weird Al fans, but you had the Star Wars fans too. If nothing else, it... Read more

5. Squarepusher - Come On My Selector
What I like most about this vid is the short story wrapped around the song – what kid doesn’t at some point believe they can outsmart and outfight a bunch of bumbling adults?
4. Portishead - Only You
The visuals in this vid are stunningly hypnotic, and fit the song perfectly – as any good music video should.

18. Tricky - For Real
Say what you want about Tricky, but this video screams “cool”.
17. Travis - Re-offender
This is another great visual video that’s gotten overlooked over the years. I could not imagine a better fit for the song.
16. Blur - Coffee and TV
I promise to never ever kick a can again. And can we agree that this is the coolest milk carton in the history of milk cartons?

34. Duran Duran - A View to a Kill
Duran Duran |MTV Music
You’ll notice I skipped over more famous Duran Duran videos for one of their more obscure entries. Why, you might ask? The video for A View To A Kill screams 80’s cheese – and is therefore awesome. Duran Duran as a team of super spies, and a flying video camera? C’mon. Hungry Like the Wolf can’t hold a candle.
