Creative has finally confirmed the reports of their newest handheld, the Zii EGG. If you're looking for a new media player that ISN'T anything from Apple, I'd suggest you check out this device.

The Zii EGG boasts energy efficiency as well as HD output in 1080p while running on Google's operating system, Android. It does this via StemCell Computing which is really just an extremely beefy processor in conjunction with the "ZMS-05 Media-Rich System-On-Chip" capable of power management, HD playback, OpenGL ES support, and a full SD memory card slot. I bet you're asking, "what does this all mean?" Well, for those of you who would rather download useless apps and games on your phone, there is no need to worry. The Zii EGG comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a screen with a 10-point multitouch capacity.
