Bossa Nova
While Bossa Nova's heydey was in the late fifties and early sixties, this sound (heralded by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stan Getz, and many more) has outlived its short burst of initial, high public popularity - as was most notably achieved through the chart-topping single "The Girl from Ipanema." In some ways a fusion of samba and jazz, bossa is a smooth, slinky form of music that grooves but often requires a great deal of technical skill. One musicain described it as "difficult music that sounds easy."

Arabian horses wild is something new I'm trying. I am an artist whose eyesight is dimming a little, and I once heard somewhere that the perfect music was when a musician envisioned a place, object, event, ect. and than composed a song that when played would convay the vision to the listener along with their own interpitation thus gaining even more value. My ex once remarked on hearing this that it reminded her of arabian horses.. which to my suprise was exactly what I was thinking about when I was working on it... so hey... tell me what it makes you think of!
