An artist can do what they do on an album, but you'll never know how deep the rhymes go unless you strip the production and the written lyrics from the equation. A freestyle rap is easily one of the toughest challenges for any MC, which explains why even Tupac professes to being "scared" to do some freestyle in this clip with the Notorious B.I.G. (pre-beef). Spoiler alert: he does fine. But...
