Biography:
TRACE 101 is President of the Hug A Thug Book Club an organization that promotes reading and literacy to at risk inner city youth. He encourages them to Crack A Book Before You Get Booked. TRACE has been working in California schools for over 10 years and has written several plays, movie scripts, and 2 books. He has lectured at colleges on topics such as Greek Philosophy, Egyptian Writing, and Multicultural Education. TRACE is a graduate of the University of Poetry founded by the pioneers of the 1960''s Black Arts Movement who have now passed the poetic torch on to this promising poet of the Hip Hop generation. TRACE has released his first spoken word CD entitled "CHANGE" which features his signature style of poetry called "Ghetto Folklore". TRACE 101 is the classroom with no walls who takes you on an educational field trip through the hood. TRACE is available for lectures, educational workshops, or live performances to showcase his unique style of innertainment. TRACE captures the spirit of the streets and translates his powerful philosophical messages through Hip Hop music.
