Before the Solstice

Blood will be a daily sight
In the age when there's no longer night
The Sun raised high, no shadows anymore

The Reaper's came and burned the weeds
Gathered all of the fine seed
No speck of chaff, can be found on his floor
Daddy's gone, and mommy's wronged
God sent orders from his throne
The children scream in terror, feed on tears
