Biography:

A fine young singer/songwriter who was born to musically inclined parents, Jeevan "Jeevz", demonstrated talents in singing & performing at a very early age. He has a creative mind for writing songs that are relevant to the current "market" today and at the same time showcases great arranging ideas and skills. However, that's not all! He also has a knack for producing his own songs and coming up with his own beats. Jeevz shows a strong affinity for Hip Hop and R&B styles. His vocal ability is also known to be soulful to many and his confidence gives him a commanding presence on stage. This upcoming musician has a foundation built upon a high level of musicianship. Moreover, he possesses great attitude and is a wonderful person to work with, is talented yet down to earth & humble, hard-working and his inherent musical instincts are praiseworthy. Jeevz is currently in his 3rd year, pursuing the Song-writing degree at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He is one to look out for in the near future, maybe even sooner. His first single, called Coming Home was written in 2003 when he was 18 and it received great reviews and showed the listeners what this artist was capable of. Since then, he had left the scene, as he needed to concentrate on his studies. Now, in 2008, he is back in action! Don’t You Say Goodbye; a catchy song with a sweet, yet a haunting tune to go with a beat that has “bounce” ... I'll Be There For You; Jeevz collaborates here with MC Rishi, a well known rapper in the Malaysian Hip-Hop scene. It is lovely to hear how he blends the style of the Rap and his R&B style of singing into this song. Such an easy-going song, a song you can just listen to over and over again! One of his latest songs, You Make It Hot, received so much hype & is one of his HOTTEST songs on Myspace!! Two of his songs, You Make It Hot .. and .. Poppin' were nominated for Best Pop/R&B Song and Best Hip-Hop Song at the AVIMA '09 (Asia's FIRST Independent Music Awards) - The results will be out on the 29th of March 2009. Jeevz is currently working on a new project with Alexander David Potts (Guitar), another amazing talent! Their first single, Catch Me If You Can has been released on Myspace & listeners are now saying that this mash-up could be the Next Big Thing!! "The fusion of Rock, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul & Ethnic flavors" This project team will be called Higher Dimension. Please be on the look out, for this is something you CAN'T miss out on!!
