Punk Artists
Begun in the seventies as a reaction to rock star bloat, punk is a leaner, nastier, and quite frequently louder form of three-chord rock. Punk has of course changed since then, and the argument about what constitutes punk can hinge on the sound of the band, their instrumentation, or simply their approach.
