BORDERWARS is an American Metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area.

The band have been on the bill of Ozzfest afterparties, Vans Warped Tour, other festivals, along with bands like Soulfly, Obituary, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Avenged Sevenfold, Testament, Exodus, Full blown Chaos, Metal Church, Tsunami, Armored Saint (Anthrax's John Bush)...

Borderwars's original line-up has primarily consisted of vocalist/guitarist Vince Graham, bassist Frank Grengo and drummer Andrew Merik, taught by Paul Bostaph. Later on guitarist Toolio Bo, from the major bay area thrash metal band "Currency .357", was added and Leon Marcelis, from the major California metal act "Inruin" and once sought by Machine Head as a replacement bassist for the 2008 tour, replaced Frank Grengo.

Borderwars has released 1 studio album. Their new album, "The Present Day" was co-produced by Billy Anderson (Mayhem, Eyehategod, Neurosis, Sick of it All, Melvins, Alabama Thunderpussy...) and will be released under "Black Hawk Label Records". You can also find Borderwars in different Metal Comp.
