To be honest, I dont know. I can't sit here and say...Hey, such and such happened and it made me want to write or because of X and Y I decided to write. Making music just feels so natural to me, more natural than talking sometimes. Music will just flow out of me and i'll do by best to do justice of what is trapped inside.

My music is about "feeling". Being im not the best with words, I use music and melody to get the emotion in which i'm putting out there. There's something about the right chords and certain notes that can strike specific emotions that makes me love what I do. I'd say my music evolves by trying to get at different types of feelings or emotions. If I were to write songs at one period of time in my life, they may all have a similar feel because of what state of mind im in. In a few years from now, I may write something I never would have thought to write in the past because of all the experiences and lessons i've been through.

First I would love to collaborate with John Mayer. He's one of the two main reasons I decided to pick up a guitar in the first place. Even though he has more talent in his pinky as compared to me, I would love to have him write some melodies or leads on top of my rhythms. Secondly, Sara Bareilles would be another outstanding artist to work with. For her to put her vocals and melody lines on top of anything I wrote would be amazing. Her jazz and blues influences would match up with my style of play pretty damn well if you'd ask me. I could go on and on but i'd rather not bore everyone with my musical fantasies.

My biggest challenge really has been confidence in my ability to write and perform. I know im not going to be on the cover of Guitar World or Rolling Stone, but having that inner strength to say, "hey, my music ain't half bad. In fact, it's pretty damn good" is a lot harder than I would have ever thought. The way I found to try to get through it is to be your biggest fan. In the end, it all comes back to you and you only. If you feel strong and confident about what you're doing, and that goes for just about anything you do in life, the results will show. Just have faith and believe in what you can do.

I would love to have one of my songs to either be recorded by a top selling artist or used as a theme/main song for a movie/t.v show. Pretty much anything that would give my song as much publicity as possible. To know that millions of people have heard something I created would be the greatest thing that I could ever accomplish in this life time. Big smiles all around!!!
